        If you want to have a clear skin you should follow a treatment. On local small pustules that are under the effect of ultra-violet rays, antibiotics of the tetracycline family are commonly prescribed. This modern and effective medication on acne, is totally forbidden to pregnant women. Contraception is required one month before, during treatment and one month after stopping it. Treatment can be long and it tends to dry mucous membranes. Retinoid creams like Retin-A can be used effectively not only to remove the blackhead spots, but also to prevent blackhead forming. Retin-A decreases the secretion of oil and opens the pores of the skin by helping the skin cells to function properly. The only disadvantage of this treatment of blackhead is that it takes time. To get rid of dead skin cells, you can use exfoliating diluted product, such as benzoyl peroxide. It is very useful to get rid of the worst spots, without damaging the skin. Another way of getting rid of blackhead is the blackhead remover microdermabrasion.

        The gunk collected in a blackhead can also be slightly displaced. This can actually benefit your skin, if you use a good blackhead treatment. If you squeeze too hard, it can bruise and scar the skin, so always be gentle in your approach. Also never try to shoot every stubborn blackhead. Another way to quickly remove the dead skin cells, is to use chemicals containing glycolic acid peels or even some skin care products with salicylic acid. But if you ever used a retinoid cream, it can be risky to try to cure blackhead.

        The emergence of a button at the follicle is due to three events:

• Obstruction of the follicle
• Excessive secretion of sebum in the follicle
• Development of bacteria in the follicle

        Logically, the treatment applies when one or more of these causes are present. Depending on the severity of the acne, one can use oral or topical application. One must also know that the acne can occur for different reasons, unrelated to adolescence. Before proceeding with the extraction of blackheads, boil a pot of hot water and then stay in the steam for at least 10 minutes.
